Shotting Running leger with 2-4oz grip lead on surf beaches. Light lead or float in estuaries.
Field notes Minimum landing size 42cm - measure and release undersized fish; Peeler crab is the gold dust bait from March to June; Dawn and dusk are prime feeding windows; Fish after a storm when the surf is coloured and churned up; Wire trace NOT needed - bass have no teeth to cut line; Lure fishing with soft plastics is deadly around rocky marks
