Fish welfare
Warm water is hard on atlantic salmon. The app warns from 17°C and tells you to consider not targeting them at 20°C.
Atlantic salmon need cool, oxygenated water. Many UK fisheries impose hoot rules or voluntary stops around 20°C. Catch-and-release mortality climbs sharply in warm water.
